Jack
29th April – 2nd May 2026
The Redgrave Theatre

In a city of smoke and secrets, his name sparks fear in the powerful and hope in the crowd.
Jack Sheppard is no ordinary criminal.
A carpenter turned outlaw, he slipped through bars and dodged the gallows, turning every escape into a performance with the city as his stage.
But even legends can’t run forever.
Jack is a bold, fast-paced new musical inspired by the true story of the 18th-century gaol-breaker who outwitted the law and captured the public’s imagination.
With a gritty original score and vibrant characters drawn from the Georgian underworld, it explores the line between criminality and celebrity, freedom and performance.
Bristol Musical Theatre proudly presents the world premiere of Jack, by Phil Dixon and Elizabeth Major.

Murder on Exhibit
Step into a world of history, intrigue, and hidden agendas…
Tonight, the grand Georgian gallery opens its doors for a glittering celebration at the city’s most prestigious museum. Esteemed scholars, generous patrons, and a touch of local glamour have gathered for an evening of fine dining and fascinating conversation.
The air is filled with excitement as the final lecture in a renowned series concludes, new partnerships are toasted, and old friendships rekindled. But beneath the polished surface of polite society, tensions simmer, secrets linger, and not everyone is here to celebrate the past…
So raise a glass, enjoy the company, and keep your wits about you. After all, history has a way of repeating itself – and tonight, the museum may have a new exhibit.
Next Performance: 31st October at Clifton Observatory
