Music, Motives & Murder, a 1950s Murder Mystery
The Year: 1959
The setting: A glamorous cocktail party hosted by Albert Edwards, Managing Director of EMI Records, and his wife Evelyn. The guestlist includes high-flying executives, rising stars and industry insiders – but beneath the glitz, tensions simmer.
The scenario: Step back in time to the dazzling world of the 1950s entertainment industry, where sharp suits, the rise of Rock ‘n Roll music, and cutthroat ambition collide. Hosted and performed by Bristol Musical Theatre, this fully immersive murder mystery plunges guests into a night of cocktails, canapés… and carefully concealed secrets.
As the evening unfolds, so does the drama — and at least one person won’t make it out alive. Will you spot the subtle clues? Can you unravel the motives? Mingle with suspects, piece together the plot, and accuse the culprit before the final curtain falls.

After the successes of our first Murder Mystery package, the October at Clifton Observatory we will be debuting our second, brand new murder mystery. We can’t wait to share more with you in due course.
Once premiered, this will be available for booking from November 2025 onwards.
